Joe DeGuardia’s Star Boxing is pleased to  announce the signing of top 140-pound boxing sensation, “Mighty” Mike Arnaoutis.  Arnaoutis is the latest member to  join Joe DeGuardia’s Star Boxing thriving stable of fighters and will now be part of an unstoppable star studded hit squad which has the likes of Antonio Tarver, Montell Griffin, Roberto Benitez, Tarvis Simms, Nate Campbell, Kevin Johnson and Vinny Maddalone.  The addition of “Mighty” Mike Arnaoutis solidifies Star Boxing’s position even more as one of the premier promotional companies in the business.

Arnaoutis has an undefeated record of 17-0-2 with 9 Knockout’s and now fights out of Atlantic City, New Jersey

For years, offers from boxing’s top promoters flooded Cestus Management’s offices, but Cestus CEO, Gina Iacovou, and advisor Mike Michael had not found the perfect fit to execute their plan of making boxing history with “Mighty” Mike.  All of that changed when the thriving management company began working closely with Joe DeGuardia’s Star Boxing.   Mike Michael said, “Cestus has been managing Mike Arnaoutis’ career since the beginning and has finally found the right promotional company to team up with. Star Boxing has unquestionable integrity, authenticity and that special vision which is required to be the best of the best. Joe DeGuardia is as professional as it gets and is one of the most highly respected people in the boxing world; he is a class act and a true pleasure to work with.  Now that all of the pieces are in place all I have to say is lock the doors and run for cover.”

Cestus’ CEO, Gina Iacovou adds, “I think that Star Boxing and Cestus Management is a match made in heaven for the reason that professionalism and strong work ethics are what both organizations retain.  “Mighty” Mike Arnaoutis is a world class fighter so we saw fit to sign with a world class organization like Star Boxing.”

Star Boxing CEO, Joe DeGuardia exclaimed, “This is a tremendous day for Star Boxing.  “Mighty” Mike Arnaoutis is one of the most exciting young fighters in the world and he now has the support to step up to the highest level.  Being in a state which boasts half a million Greek descendants, “Mighty” Mike and Cestus Management will feel right at home with Star Boxing.  We are looking forward to working with Cestus and bringing “Mighty” Mike Arnaoutis to the championship of the world”

Arnaoutis exploded onto the world stage on August 5, 2004, when he met fellow prospect Juan Urango.  It was a fight which saw the young Greek warrior show that he had the qualities of what champions are made of. Using phenomenal hand and foot speed, making the right adjustments throughout the fight and imposing his will with a steel chin on a fighter considered to be a wrecking ball.  Although the contest was ultimately ruled a draw, the boxing world knows that “Mighty” Mike Arnaoutis was a clear winner.

Since that ground-breaking performance, “Mighty” Mike has responded the way future champions do as he is currently on a seven-fight tear; five of which ended by knockout!  Arnaoutis’ has shown tremendous early punching-power as the Greek powerhouse has knocked out his last three opponents in the first round; two of which were undefeated.

Arnaoutis is coming off a first round stoppage of Mike Walker on April 7 in Tampa, Florida

Now with Star Boxing also behind this 140-pound terror, “Mighty” Mike Arnaoutis is ready to become a Superstar.
