Undefeated former lightweight titleholder Paul Spadafora has been sued by his former manager, who is accusing the fighter of breaching of contract, according to a report in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Al McCauley filed the lawsuit on Monday, claiming that Spadafora’s Aug. 18 bout against Humberto Toledo was fought without his permission and that McCauley didn’t receive his cut of Spadafora’s paycheck, the article said.

Spadafora’s attorney, meanwhile, told the newspaper that he planned on filing a lawsuit  on behalf of the boxer against McCauley and promoter Mike Acri for what he alleged was their attempt to interfere with Spadafora-Toledo.
