Prince Badi, (24-2-1) continues his climb up the light heavyweight division with a twelve round decision over former title challenger Thomas Reid for the WBC CBOFE Light Heavyweight Title at the St. Petersburg Coliseum Saturday night. Prince Bad fresh off his win against Orlando Rivera on October 15th in Orlando FL. turns in a stellar performance less than two months after his T.K.O against Orlando Rivera. The fight was a hard fought victory for Prince Badi as Reid showed great desire threw out the fight but in the end Prince Badi was too much for the game fighter. This was a great way for the Boxing Prince to finish off 2005 with back to back wins in less than two months. With the newly captured WBC Cabofe light heavyweight title along with his WBC Americas Light Heavyweight title Prince Badi along with Silverhawk Boxing is excited about the upcoming year as the Boxing Prince turns up the heat on the light heavyweight division.

Stevie “LiL” But Bad” Johnston (37-3-1) captured the NABC Super Lightweight World Championship with an impressive win over rugged Volodimir Khodakovskiy. Combined with his decisive win in Orlando Florida October 15th his comeback continues to be right on track. Stevie Johnston put on what the boxing world has grown to expect from this great champion. Great defense, power when he needs it and the ability to control the fight form beginning to end. After more than two years off because of an almost fatal car accident, Stevie Johnston has stepped back into the ring as if he was never gone. As most of Stevie’s opponents along with Khodakovskiy have found out you can’t hit what you can’t catch. Stevie’s boxing skills have always been their and under the watchful eyes of Buddy McGirt and Jim Rider they have made Stevie’s two and a half years away from the ring look as if it never happened . Also seeing action Saturday night was former IBF light heavyweight champion William Guthrie (30-3-2). Guthrie who came up against a determined Rodney Moore looked to control most of the fight in the early rounds. Moore who fought a courageous fight looked out classed by the former champion but was able to fight to a draw. Guthrie has some work to do but he will be someone to watch in 2006

In the opening bout of the night James McGirt (10-0-0) continues to impress everyone in the boxing world, knocking down Franklin Armstrong three times before referee Tommy Kimmons called the fight in the third round. McGirt was too much for Armstrong from the outset as he keeps his perfect record in tact. In the early fights that night at the Coliseum Jason Barnett of Clearwater looked good against Franklin Edmundson in a heavyweight bout winning a unanimous decision. Jean Baptist from Orlando was too much for Fred Drayton as he controlled the entire fight and won a unanimous decision
