Cruiserweight contender Shane Cameron (27-2, 21KOs) is going to be out a lot longer than previously believed. The boxer's right broken hand has been re-assessed after an MRI scan and now requires minor surgery which is expected to take ten weeks to heal. Cameron broke his hand in the fifth round of his Commonwealth Title fight with Dominic Vea on July 20th in New South Wales. Cameron knocked Vea out in the twelfth round.
