After Daniel "Tremendo" Estrada was unable to fight in the card "Box en Playa", Sergio "Yeyo" Thompson (31-3-0, 29 KO's) will take his place and face César "Dólar" Chávez (21-4-0, 9 KO's) in the undercard of the event promoted by Cancun Boxing and Golden Boy Promotions.
The fight between Thompson and Chavez promises to be a great fight that surely will thrill the fans. The so called “Yeyo” fought an amazing against WBC champion Takashi Miura but unfortunately he was unable to conquer the title.
“I have to win this fight, I might get another shot for the world title” Thompson said.
Thompson vs Chavez will be the uncercard of the fight between undefeated Frankie "Pitbull" Gómez (15-0-0, 11 KO's) and Prince "Too Hot" Doku (18-3-0, 12 KO's)..
