Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer is planning to explore several potential possibilities for WBC/WBA junior welterweight champion Danny Garcia (24-0, 15KOs).

The 24-year-old fighter secured the biggest win of his career on Saturday night in Las Vegas, when he scored three knockdowns before stopping British superstar Amir Khan in four rounds.

One possibility, and obviously the most lucrative, is a rematch with Khan - if the British boxer decides to stay at 140.

If Garcia wants to remain at 140, there are several fighters under the Golden Boy banner - including former four division champion Erik Morales, who wants to avenge a March decision loss to Garcia.

Other possibilities include Zab Judah - or even a move to 147 to challenge WBA champion Paulie Malignaggi.

"We keep getting emails and text messages from Erik Morales, who would love to fight him in a rematch. I'm going to talk to [Garcia] and his team. At 140 or 147, we have almost everybody...everybody who matters. I could potentially see at one point a fight between Danny and Zab Judah as well. I could see Danny challenging Paulie Malignaggi [at 147]. There are so many opportunities," Schaefer told BoxingScene.com.

Both Schaefer and promoter Lou DiBella have confirmed that discussions are ongoing to finalize a high-stakes junior welterweight clash between Olusegun Ajose and Lucas Matthysse - with the WBC's interim-title likely at stake. The fight would take place as the Showtime televised co-feature to Devon Alexander vs. Randall Bailey on September 8.

If Matthysse (31-2, 29KOs) prevails, Schaefer would explore the possibility of a mouth-watering fight with Garcia.

"That's a possibility. Can you imagine if Matthysse [fought Garcia]...I don't really know Ajose, so I'm not trying to disrespect him, but I don't really know Ajose. But I saw Matthysse, what he did to [Humberto] Soto. Matthysse, at 140...[Garcia] and Matthysee, can you imagine that? A pick'em fight," Schaefer said.

Garcia's convincing victory at the Mandalay Bay was surprising to many, including some of the executives at Golden Boy. But they don't expect anyone to underestimate Garcia in the future.

"Obviously we know that he's a tough guy. I think he surprised everybody. He's the kind of guy, when he fought Kendall Holt and Erik Morales, he stepped up to the plate. I think it's going to be difficult for anyone to beat Danny Garcia. We saw that he could take a punch. He doesn't take a step back. And when he hits - it's lights out," Schaefer said.
