BoxingScene.com has learned that the WBO middleweight title fight between Ireland’s Andy Lee (34-2-1, 24KOs) and Hatfield’s Billy Joe Saunders (22-0, 12KOs) has been rescheduled for a second time after Saunders picked up an injury in training.

The fight was due to take place in Ireland in September only to be moved to an October 10th date at the Manchester Arena after it was revealed that Lee was suffering from a virus.

Now, though, it will be moved again in order to give the mandatory challenger a chance to recover.

Frank Warren has tweeted that a statement about the show will be released through his press office this afternoon. Terry Flanagan’s WBO lightweight title defense against Diego Magdaleno is on the card and Liam Smith takes on John Thompson for the vacant WBO super welterweight crown.
