Undefeated United States Olympian Sadam Ali pulled off the upset over the rusty welterweight banger Luis Carlos Abregu with lateral movement and efficient punching (34 punches thrown per round- 38% power shots landed). Abregu swung for the fences all night and landed just 18% of his total punches and saw himself get dropped twice and then knocked out in the ninth round.

Even though ali won i still think he is a very beatable undefeated fighter this was his first foray into tougher competition and he was cautious and not overwhelming the ref should have not stopped that fight.
