Ryan Garcia is talking sizable trash, and he wants to make sure he’s not falling short of getting under the skin of potential future foe Gervonta Davis.

“He’s a talented fighter, and he’s got OK skills. But there’s one thing that he wasn’t blessed with and that’s height. He’s never going to be able to touch me, and I don’t care about him on the inside,” Garcia told Fight Hype. “He’s short as f--k and he doesn’t have the reach. Whether you like it or not, he’s short as f--k. He’s not going to be able to reach me while backing up ... When he sees all my skills, he’ll literally run away. I’m taking him down. I got some sh-t for him.”

The 21-year-old Garcia (20-0, 17 KOs) stands at 5’ 10” while the WBA lightweight titlist and 25-year-old Davis (23-0, 22 KOs) is 5′ 5½”.

Garcia has been calling for a lightweight meeting with Davis even though all signs point to him next meeting Jorge Linares sometime this summer once the boxing schedule resumes.

“It might just be Gervonta Davis because if I have one more fight and one more explosive performance, he might run away like a b-tch. You hear me, Gervonta Davis because you’re a b-tch,” said Garcia.

“[Francisco] Fonseca was out-boxing [Davis in 2017], and [Davis] had to hit him on the back of the head with a desperate ass shot. If he gets desperate with me, I’m smacking him cold. Down goes Gervonta Davis and Tank is no more a Tank.”

Garcia crushed Fonseca with a knockout of the year candidate in the first round in February, while Davis needed eight rounds to score his KO of Fonseca three years ago.

“I’ve got some sh-t for him too on the inside. He can try and come inside all day long, and he’s going to take a lot of sh-t because I’m not the person that will miss. You’re not going to make me miss,” said Garcia.
