Ruben Guerrero, father and trainer of Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero (33-3-1, 18KOs), is predicting that Danny Garcia (31-0, 18KOs) is going to receive a vicious beating in the main event of Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) on FOX, which takes place on Saturday at STAPLES Center in downtown Los Angeles, California.

The two fighters will battle for the vacant World Boxing Council welterweight championship. The belt became vacant after Floyd Mayweather jr. retired last September.

The will be Guerrero's second shot at that title after losing a decision to Mayweather in 2013.

Ruben says Garcia will get punished from round to round, until his face is swollen and bruised like former welterweight champion Andre Berto. Back in 2012, Guerrero scored two knockdowns and caused both of Berto's eyes to suffered severe swelling. It was an impressive victory that secured Guerrero's shot at Mayweather.

And Ruben has once again advised father/trainer Angel Garcia to prepare himself to throw in the white towel.

"I wish the fight was today, because we're ready. Danny Garcia better be ready. It's over. It's time to fight. It's going to be a bloody and rough fight. We're bringing everything. Same thing that happened to Andre Berto is going to happen to Danny. His dad better be ready to throw the towel in," Ruben said.

Robert took things back to the old school era of his career. Early in his career, he was a boxer who put his skills on display. But when he moved up to the welterweight limit of 147-pounds, Guerrero became more of a brawler that mauled his opponents by staying in close and throwing punches in bunches. That strategy worked against some fighters, but backfired with others like Keith Thurman, Aron Martinez and Yoshihiro Kamegai.

"We're really ready to go. We trained hard and did everything we had to do. There's nothing left now but to do it. I have to go out there and show my heart. Everything I put into this, I want to get even more out. I'm a hard worker and it will translate into the ring. I'm excited to get to the fight and take care of business. As my dad says, 'we're 'letting the roosters go.' It's time to fight," Robert said.

"I'm very grateful to be fighting on this show as the return of boxing is back on FOX. I'm ready to settle our business in the ring. All the talking is done. He said he's going to knock me out...well we're going to see. I'm ready to represent the Mexican people and bring the fans a great, action-packed fight. A title is on the line and I'm extremely motivated to silence the critics who are doubting me.  I'm ready to become a champion once again"
