UFC champion Ronda Rousey says Floyd Mayweather Jr. is getting what he deserves -- fans turning their backs on him in droves because his last fight, with Andre Berto on September 12th, was a mismatch.
Ronda weighed in on the Berto-Mayweather fight drawing only about 550,000 pay-per-view customers -- the lowest number Floyd's pulled in 10 years. The way Ronda sees it ... her archnemesis should've seen this coming.
She says fans were very angry with the lack of action in Mayweather's last bout, against Manny Pacquiao on May 2nd, and took a pass on Berto. Mayweather-Pacquiao was a record crusher with 4.4 million pay-per-view buys.
"I'm not surprised," Rousey said. "A lot of people were pissed after that Pacquiao fight. Fans aren't dumb."
Ronda has been feuding with Floyd for months in the press, but his company CEO, Leonard Ellerbe, says there are no hard feeling on their side and her anti-Mayweather comments are nothing more than the UFC using Floyd to get increase Ronda's visibility.
