After an impressive performance in his last fight, featherweight contender Ronny Rios returns to action.
Rios will fight in a 10 round bout June 3 at the Belasco Theatre in Los Angeles, Golden Boy Promotions matchmaker Robert Diaz told BoxingScene.com.
No opponent has been announced as of yet.
Rios will fight on the eve of the highly-anticipated showdown between WBO junior lightweight titleholder Francisco Vargas and Orlando Salido.
Rios (25-1, 10 KOs), who resides in Santa Ana, Calif., scored an impressive 10 round decision win over Jayson Velez on November 21 in Las Vegas, Nev.
He has won his last two bouts since his fifth round knockout loss to Robinson Castellanos in October of 2014.
The Rios fight will top a ‘Boxeo Estela’ card and will air live on Estrella TV, beginning at 10 p.m. ET/ 7 p.m. PT. The entire Golden Boy Promotions card will be streamed live on RingTVLive.com, beginning at 8:30 p.m. ET/ 5:30 p.m. PT.
