The Los Angeles portion of Manny Pacquiao's training camp for his April 9th date against Timothy Bradley begins today at the Wild Card Boxing Club.

The HBO Pay-Per-View trilogy bout takes place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Bradley won a controversial twelve round split decision in their 2012 meeting, while Pacquiao won unanimous decision over twelve in the 2014 rematch.

Pacquiao's trainer, Freddie Roach, is pleased with how camp went in the Philippines.

"He's getting real, real close, we boxed ten rounds on Saturday. It was his best day, yet. I'm happy,"said Roach, who said his fighters effort never wavers regardless of the circumstances.

"Every time Manny Pacquiao walks through the gym doors, everything else goes away. His work ethic takes over and it was great as usual."

The question is - will this be Pacquiao's swan song?

"(Manny) says no, he's running for senator and it might be too much to do both but I feel he will fight, again, yes,"opined the trainer to BoxingScene.com.

Pacquiao is now 37 years old and has compiled a mark of 57-6-2(38 KO's). It's clear now that he is at the very end of a Hall-of-Fame career.

"It's pretty much the same but he has slowed down a little bit - I will honestly say that," admitted Roach. "He's not the same guy who fought Ricky Hatton, right now. Of course he's getting older and so forth but he's still very, very capable."
