Freddie Roach, trainer of WBC middleweight champion Miguel Cotto (40-4, 33KOs), is very confident that his fighter will beat the young stud of Mexico, Saul "Canelo" Alverez (45-1-1, 32KOs), when they clash on a tentative HBO Pay-Per-View date in November.

Canelo has been on a streak of wins over Alfredo Angulo, James Kirkland and Erislandy Lara. Cotto has been demolishing the opposition, with vicious beatings of Daniel Geale, Sergio Martinez and Delvin Rodriguez.

"I really like that fight. That's the fight I've always wanted for Miguel. I think it's a very good fight for us. I really like our chances in that fight and I think there's a good chance we knock this guy out," Roach said to El Mundo.
