Reito Tsutsumi lived up to his word to offer a far better account himself in his second pro bout. The entertaining newcomer from Tokyo floored Michael Ruiz (2-8-1, 0 KOs) three times en route to a second-round knockout.
Tsutsumi sent Ruiz down for the third and final time shortly after the bell to begin round two. The fight was waved off at 0:28 of the second round. Tsutsumi is now 2-0 (1 KO), his latest win coming two months after his May 2 pro debut, where he expressed disappointment in going the distance in a six-round unanimous decision win.
