Former WBC super middleweight champion Robin Reid (39-5, 27KOs) is getting his last chance at glory when he takes on undefeated Carl "The Cobra" Froch (21-0, 17KOs) at the Ice Arena in Nottingham on November 2.
Reid, who's been in the ring with Joe Calzaghe, Sven Ottke and Jeff Lacy and also won Bronze at the 1992 Olympics, is probably the toughest opponent of Froch's career
In a recent interview with the Liverpool Echo, Reid, 36, expressed his desire to become the first fighter to demolish the unbeaten record of Froch.
"I want to be the first to demolish Froch and end his unbeaten record,” said Reid. "People asked me if I was going to quit after losing to Jeff Lacy, and I am not the type who just carries on boxing for the sake of it. I have done all right money-wise, but I just know that it is still there within me.”
