Max Alperovich of Fight Promotions has advised BoxingScene.com that they have added to their stable by inking welterweight Radjab Butaev.
"He's fighting on March 25th in Oklahoma on the ShoBox undercard," said Alperovich on Friday afternoon.
As of now, no opponent has been set but this bout will be a scheduled six rounder.
Butaev comes in with impressive amateur credentials, having won 304 of his 316 bouts with 164 stoppages and having won various tournaments, including participating in the World Series of Boxing. The 22-year old will be moved at a rapid pace.
"He's very, very advanced,"said Alperovich."He beat everyone in the second season of the WSB. We're going to give him a six-rounder, his next fight will be an eight-rounder and then we'll go from there and raise the opposition quickly."
Fight Promotions work with such fighters as Ivan Golub, Ievgen Khytrov, Sergey Derevyanchenko and others.
