The scores were 95-95, 96-94, 96-94 for Taylor.
Persoon was aggressive and bringing the fight to Taylor. However, Taylor was more active and connecting better with the big shots in round one.
Persoon came back in round two, as she started to connect with better punches and was cutting off the distance on Taylor. Persoon continued to press forward and throw a lot of punches in Taylor's direction.
In the fourth, there was a clash of heads where Taylor suffered a cut on her forehead. Taylor was creating distance and doing better from the outside.
More pressure from Persoon in the fifth, bringing the fight to Taylor - who was standing and trading with Persoon against the ropes and trying to fight fire with fire.
Taylor was doing good boxing to take the sixth, with Persoon coming back with her aggressive style in the seventh to land good shots. Persoon came back firing again in the eight and was landing hard shots on Taylor.
Taylor may have edged the ninth with a big check hook while fighting Persoon. In the tenth they were trading away, Taylor looked very tired as Persoon was working her over with very hard shots and not giving her any room to breathe.
