The best fighter pound for pound in the world, Nicaragua's Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez, and his manager Carlson Blandon, met up with recently retired Floyd Mayweather Jr. at a shopping center.

Chocolatito was in Las Vegas to sit ringside on Saturday night when Saul "Canelo" Alvarez and Miguel Cotto fought at the Mandalay Bay Events Center.

After Mayweather retired in September, most major outlets listed Gonzalez as the number one pound for pound fighter in boxing.

Gonzalez is looking to return to the ring February, but he's not entirely sure if the fight is going to take place in the United States on HBO or a defense of his WBC flyweight championship in Japan. Gonzalez will speak to his promoter Mr. Honda of Teiken Promotions to get more details about his return.

He wants to eventually have a unification rematch, hopefully next year, with WBO/WBA flyweight champion Juan Carlos Estrada.
