The previous two Team Combat League championship squads will meet to crown a two-time league ruler.

The Season 3 finale for TCL’s Team Boxing League is set to take place on August 31 from Renaissance Glendale Hotel in Glendale, Arizona. Meeting in the “MegaBrawl Finals” will be Season 1 champs Philly Smoke and Season 2 winners NYC Attitude.

A total of 24 individual three-minute rounds from qualifying bouts will determine who prevails in the unique format of combat sports competition. The event will air live on Merit TV.

Philly Smoke boasts several notable pros, including 2020 U.S. Olympian Rashida Ellis who ran through the featherweight field and went a perfect 14-0 during this year’s competition. Nahir Albright went 9-0 in competition and also boasts an upset win over unbeaten Kelvin Davis this past June 7 in a pro bout outside of TCL competition.

Ellis and Albright are joined by Rasheen Brown, who boasted a 15-3 mark in this year’s competition.

Former title challenger Jesse Hart also played a pivotal role in the 9-1 team record amassed by Philly Smoke this year. However, he is scheduled to next face Khalil Coe in a pivotal light heavyweight fight on October 11 in his hometown of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

NYC Attitude will turn to season leaders Stacia Suttles (17-2 in TCL Season 3 competition), Lasha Gurguiliana (11-1) , Christina Cruz (12-3) and Isaac Carbonell (13-4) to bring home this year’s crown.

The one-round per bout format is the main separator from sanctioned pro contests. The sport’s traditional rules are otherwise followed, including scoring based on the 10-point must system.
