A highly predictable afternoon's boxing in Surin ended with two up and coming Thai fighters extending their impressive records at the expense of overmatched Indonesians who put up no more than token resistance.

Many of Johan Wahyudi 's 23 previous career losses had come on Thai soil so it was no surprise when Petchbarngborn Kokietgym took his winning streak to five with a fight finishing right hand to the body in the fourth round.

The win improves Petchbarngborn 's record to 22-6-1 although neither his PABA flyweight title nor WBO Oriental super flyweight title were on the line. Wahyudi drops to 9-24 and extends his losing record in Thailand to 0-16.

There was a belt on the line when Norasing Lookbanyai took on Louis Loemoli who like Wahyudi had a hundred per cent losing record in Thailand.  The former Muay Thai champion barely broke a sweat before stopping the Indonesian journeyman with a series of overhand rights followed by a chopping left hand early in the third round.

Norasing has a very dangerous left hook and has shown glimpses of serious potential in his burgeoning boxing career but this was a very easy pay day for the 27 year old who improves to 7-0-1 while Loemoli slips to 4-10-1.
