Kelly Pavlik pleaded guilty last week to two lesser charges in a case in which he had been accused of driving an all-terrain vehicle while impaired, according to The Youngstown (Ohio) Vindicator.

Pavlik, 30, pleaded guilty to one count of failure to control a vehicle and one count of failure to report an accident. Prosecutors dropped a count of operating a vehicle while impaired due to what Pavlik’s defense attorney told the newspaper was a lack of evidence, including no field sobriety or Breathalyzer tests.

Pavlik was fined a total of $300.

Pavlik was arrested in December after he and a friend crashed their vehicles, causing more than $2,000 in property damage.

The former middleweight champion last fought in March, only his second bout since dropping his belts to Sergio Martinez in 2010. That most recent win, a second-round stoppage of Aaron Jaco, raised his record to 38-2 with 33 knockouts.
