Arena Nord, Denmark - Rising middleweight prospect Patrick Nielsen (16-0, 8KOs) won a twelve round unanimous decision over Jose Yebes (11-3-1) to retain the WBA's Iner-Continental title. The scores were 117-110, 116-110 and 117-110. This marked the fourth fight for Nielsen in 2012.

"The First Lady" of boxing has emphatically proven she is really and undeniably the first - as Cecilia Braekhus retained her undefeated record and WBC/WBA/WBO welterweight titles in Europe's biggest female fight in a very long time. Braekhus was facing a knockout terror Anne-Sophie Mathis (26-3, 22 KOs), whose incredible kayo ratio was showcased in a terrifying stoppage of American Holly Holm (though Mathis lost in the rematch). This time Mathis was the aggressive as usual but the Norse boxer gave her fits. Both fighters battled it out for ten heated rounds, and no one took a single step back. However, Cecilia's boxing skills were better than those of Mathis, she was sharper and more consistent, her guard was tight and her punches were felt well by the French.
At the end, all three scorecards were identical: 97-93 - for Cecilia Braekhus, who retained her titles for the tenth time. She is 21-0, with 5 KOs, and has just one opponent between her and the P4P female title - Holly Holm of the USA.

Former "Contender I" participant Ahmad Kaddour (lost in back-to-back fights to Alfonso Gomez and Ishe Smith in 2004) barely got past determined British road warrior Max Maxwell (16-12-3, 3 KOs) after eight heated rounds of action. All scores were identical and close: 77-75 - for Kaddour, who is now 26-2-1, with 10 KOs.
Also, debuting super featherweight Dennis Ceylan (1-0, 1 KO) knocked out overmatched Belarussian Artiom Abramenko (6-2-1, 6 KOs) in two. Abramenko was down in the first and failed to come out for the second stanza.

Swedish light heavyweight Erik Skoglund (12-0, 6 KOs) looked dominant but failed to stop tough-as-usual Russian import Ivan Maslov (7-11-1), outpointing him unanimously over eight rounds of actions. Scores were: 80-71, 79-73 and 80-72 - for the 21-year old Nykoping native.

The son of a legend, Chris Eubank Jr. improved his record to 6-0, with 3 KOs, after stopping Lithuanian Tadas Jonkus (8-12-1, 5 KOs) at 2:29 of the third. Jonkus has never defeated a single opponent with a win on his record.
