Cruiserweight contender Omar Sheika (30-11, 21KOs) will continue his career after vowing to retire earlier this year. Sheika lost back to back fights. He dropped dropped Adrian Diaconu last October in Montreal, but lost almost every round of that fight. He returned in April for what appeared to be an easy rematch with Garrett Wilson (then 9-5) and lost a lopsided twelve round decision. Sheika previously stopped Wilson in four rounds.

Sheika, although only 34, seems to have been around forever. He has a few notable wins on his record, over Glen Johnson and Simon Brown, but lost in key fights to Joe Calzaghe, Roy Jones Jr., Jeff Lacy, Thomas Tate, and several others.
