The fight with Fury is being targeted for a date of July 18th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Last month, at the same Las Vegas venue, Fury stopped Wilder in the seventh round to capture the WBC heavyweight title. They fought to a controversial twelve round split draw in the first bout, in December of 2018.

In the aftermath of his defeat, Wilder exercised his contractual clause for an immediate rematch.

Wilder believes his his ring walk outfit, which according to the boxer weighed over 40-pounds, played a role in his loss by weakening his legs by the time he entered the ring.

"Wilder [blaming his] outfit, really? He’s come out with an outlandish outfit, what the hell were you thinking?" Benn told IFL TV, according to Metro.

"What the hell! It’s something Gary Glitter would were. That’s no excuse. I think Fury would do the same thing again. The confidence and belief Fury has got in himself, well done mate, take my hat off to you."

Benn does not expect a different outcome in the third meeting. He believes Fury has mastered how to stay away from Wilder's biggest weapon, the right hand.

"What’s he going to do differently?" Benn said. "All his fights from day dot, he was losing against [Luis] Ortiz and all of them, it’s a big punch. Fury’s the only one who showed how to nullify it and see it coming. He sees everything coming. He’s got this move where he swivels. He’s got good movement, smart man."
