If Manny Pacquiao is able to hurt Floyd Mayweather Jr. on May 2nd, former three division world champion 'Sugar' Shane Mosley doubts the Filipino star will be capable of finishing him off. Mosley faced both fighters in the ring, losing a twelve round unanimous decision to Mayweather in 2010 and then losing a twelve round decision to Pacquiao the following year.

Mosley was dropped hard in the third round of the Pacquiao fight and took his fair share of punches, but he was able to survive until the very end. He also says he entered the fight with a pre-existing injury. The money being offered to him to face Pacquiao was enough where he couldn't take a pass on the deal.

Mayweather is far more defensive than Mosley, which is why Shane believes he will come out victorious. He had Mayweather in serious trouble in the second round of their fight, but Mayweather was able to weather the storm and dominated the rest of the fight.

"By the end of the fight I had blood blisters on my right foot from compensating on it cause of my Achilles. I should have waited on the fight, but the payday was too big. There was no way I could have won that fight in the condition I was in. So my perception of Pacquiao is different than it would be had I fought him in fighting shape," Mosley told On The Ropes Boxing Radio .

"[I'm picking Mayweather to win] for the simple fact that I was seriously hurt with ‘Pacman’ and was able to avoid him knocking me out and Mayweather is not hurt and is generally the best at avoiding punches, I would have to go with Mayweather."
