BoxingScene.com recently caught up with former three-division champion "Sugar" Shane Mosley who takes on Ricardo Mayorga in a rematch on August 29th in a pay-per-view event from The Forum in Inglewood, Calif.

Mosley has fought most of the top names in the current era of boxing.  A few hours prior to our interview, the mega-fight between Miguel Cotto and Saul "Canelo" Alvarez was finalized for November 21st at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Mosley has faced both men in the ring and gave his opinion on the fight.

"That is a tremendous fight. I don't know how to call that one. I think Cotto had the edge because he has more experience but Canelo is very sharp and ring savvy. He is a good counter puncher and I can't count him out," said Mosley.

As for who hits harder, Mosley had this to say.

"It is a different punch. Canelo has a hard punch that is snappy. Cotto hits hard and it is solid and thudding. Heavy handed. I think that Cotto might put his body more into it while Canelo's is more snappy. It's just different," Mosley told BoxingScene.com.
