There were purse bids in Rome for the fight between Frenchman Michel Soro (25-1-1) and Italian Emanuele Blandamura (22-1) with the vacant EBU middleweight at stake.
OPI 2000 won the bids with an offer for 64,717 Euro while Club Pugilistique Villeurbannais finished second best with a bid for 62,000 Euro.
Date and site is to be announced.
Both men have a lot to prove having lost the most important fight in their respective careers. Blandamura was knocked out by Billy Joe Saunders last year while Soro lost to then WBO champ Zaurbek Baysangurov back in 2012.
