Shortly after Floyd Mayweather Jr. defeated Marcos Maidana on Saturday evening at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, former champion Amir Khan met with a group of reporters at the post fight press conference. Khan said that Mayweather had a tough fight and that he appeared to be slowing down. He also said that his legs are going and that he isn't the same fighter he was before.
BoxingScene.com caught up with Floyd Mayweather Sr. to get his reaction to Khan's comments. An animated Floyd Sr. said that all of this nonsense was started by his son's arch rival Manny Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach.
"What's this bullsh*t people are talking? All of th*s shit came from f***in' Freddie "The Joke Coach" Roach. That's where this sh*t came from. He said the same thing and I responded by saying, 'I don't like to talk about anyone who's handicapped but if he wants to throw some mothaf***in' stones then throw 'em,'" Mayweather Sr. told BoxingScene.com.
