The second episode of Mayweather-Ortiz 24/7 failed to reach the standard the first episode set which involved a heated argument and near physical confrontation between Floyd Mayweather Jr and his father Floyd Sr.

Apparently Floyd Mayweather himself wasn’t too thrilled with what he saw either.

"I was very unhappy with the second episode of 24/7. HBO needs a new editor. The network does not show the real entertainment”  tweeted a discontent Floyd.

Victor Ortiz’s harsh upbringing has been a focal point on the show but Floyd thinks it’s being touched on too much.

“We are tired of Victor Ortiz story about his struggles. It’s boring now.”

Mayweather has long been considered the star of 24/7. It’s obvious he takes pride in being the one fighter that continuously brings the most excitement to show and doesn’t like when that is threatened.

“If the ratings go down on 24/7 its not my fault. I’ve done my job. HBO shows what they want. What do ya’ll think??” asked Mayweather on his twitter account.

He still wasn’t done. Oscar De La Hoya who was recently in rehab, was also on the show this week and the highlight of his appearance was a conversation De La Hoya had with Victor Ortiz during one of his workouts. Oscar went on to say all of Mayweather’s recent opponents were either too small, over the hill, or done when he fought them. Oscar even referred to himself as done when commenting on his fight with Floyd.

That might’ve struck a nerve with Mayweather who took a shot at Oscar in another tweet.

“De La Hoya is a drug user, dresses in drag, committed adultery and drinks alcohol and Ortiz looks up to this guy”.

Let’s hope these recent verbal jabs and dissatisfaction expressed by Floyd makes for an exciting third episode. If the sound bites are anywhere as good as Floyd’s recent tweets, we should be in for a treat.
