For the first time since 2007, Floyd Mayweather Jr. (45-0, 26KOs) fought twice in one year. He returned to action in May and dominated Robert Guerrero over twelve rounds, and came back once again last Saturday night and dominated previously undefeated Saul "Canelo" Alvarez for twelve rounds. Both fights took place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Earlier this year, Mayweather signed a six fight multi-year agreement with Showtime. In 2014, Mayweather wants to repeat the same accomplishment by fighting twice in one year.

"You'll see me agin in May. [In] May [I'll be back]. I don't know if it's May 4th or May 5th but Cinco De Mayweather," Mayweather said. "I only have 24 months left [in my Showtime deal]. There are a lot of strong champions out there. I'd like to fight in May, I don't have an opponent yet - and then fight again in September. And then fight again in May [of 2015] and then fight in September [in 2015]."
