Victor Ortiz's September 17th WBC welterweight title defense against Floyd Mayweather will be broadcast live on Primetime here in the UK.  The fight follows hot on the heels of Amir Khan's recent two fight run on the PPV broadcast channel and it is expected to be the beginning of a sustained boxing output.

Mayweather, 41-0 (25), has been on sabbatical since a decision win over Shane Mosley in May 2010; Ortiz, 29-2-2 (22), won the WBC strap with a thrilling victory over Andre Berto in April; the fight itself is also broadcast on HBO PPV and is expected to be previewed on Channel 5 here in the UK.
