WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (45-0, 26KOs) is looking to finalize his next opponent some time next week. Speaking with reporter David Mayo, Mayweather said he is not thinking about boxing at the moment but intends to get things in motion and hopefully wrap them up next week.

Mayweather is going to return on May 3rd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. There is heavy speculation that former champion Amir Khan will become his next opponent.

When Mayo asked him about a potential fight with Manny Pacquiao, who returns on April 12th - Mayweather replied with one word - "Who?"

According to Mayo, Mayweather does not appear interested in working with Pacquiao's promoter Top Rank - until CEO Bob Arum steps away from the company. Pacquiao is under contract with Top Rank until the end of 2014.
