Former world champion Ricardo "El Matador" Mayorga has vowed to continue his return, despite some legal resistance from promoter Don King. Mayorga had planned to return on  February 21 against the Raul "El Toro" Munoz at Twin River Casino in Rhode Island, but King threatened the local promoter, Jimmy Burchfield, with a lawsuit - and the fight was canceled.

Carlos Mario Peña, Mayorga's lawyer, said the boxer's return has already been rescheduled to a date of March 22 in Bulgaria. Mayorga's team is planning a lawsuit against King for monies that are owed to the boxer.

"Mr. Don King began sending threatening letters to hotels and casinos where the card was being held. He wanted to take Mayorga's entire purse and his money that he made from his reality show [Knockout]. [Adviser] Ivaylo Gotzev decided to move and reschedule the fight to March 22 in Bulgaria," Pena said.
