Juan Manuel Marquez (54-6-1, 39KOs) is planning to punish Filipino rival Manny Pacquiao (54-4-2, 38KOs) in every single round of their fourth meeting on December 8th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Marquez has bulked up and get himself into top form at the Romanza Gym in Mexico. Marquez's has a single goal in the fight - to knock Pacquiao out before the distance. While Marquez is satisfied with the selection of the three official judges, he doesn't want to take any chances by going to the scorecards.

"I'll arrive [to the fight] with a better preparation than the one I had last year. I'm happy with the great work that I have done, and I have to thank Dr. Heredia, my manager Nacho Beristain and my coaches. I worked mainly on speed and strength. As far as the speed, I will train in that area in the remaining days of preparation. I have to be faster than Pacquiao, to land more punches than him. The plan is to crush him round after round, hitting the body, and to look for the possibility of a knockout before the distance," Marquez said.

"I'm going to do my job, and I hope the judges will do theirs if the fight reaches the distance. I have to praise the work of my promoter Fernando Beltran, who had meetings with the Nevada Athletic Commission, and requested that this time the three judges were not from [Las Vegas].
