Four division world champion Juan Manuel Marquez has denied reports that a fifth fight with Manny Pacquiao is already in the works for the fall of 2013. Marquez would like to have at least one more fight before announcing his retirement, but his wife Erika is pushing him to walk away.

Prior to knocking out Pacquiao in the sixth round on December 8th, Marquez promised his wife that he would retire regardless of the outcome.

"I couldn't even tell you if I'm going to continue my career for one more fight, [because I don't know yet]. I told my wife that regardless of the result against Pacquiao - it would be the last fight for me. And when I got back to Mexico, I mentioned to her that I wanted one more fight and she said no. But I'm still asking her to give me permission," Marquez said laughing.

He once again expressed his disgust with the rumors of using performance enhancing drugs. He blames Pacquiao's trainer, Freddie Roach, for starting the entire controversy.

"For me it was unbelievable that on the social networks it was being said that I was taking banned substances. I'm a clean fighter with 20 years of a trouble-free run. Freddie Roach told me that he would to kiss my ass if my body was clean and the drug test results showed that there was nothing there. My physical changes were the direct result of four and a half months of tough training sessions. The formula is work, work and work," Marquez said.
