The spring season of Boxeo Telemundo ended on a high note, a good thing considering it’s the last boxing telecast to be enjoyed for a while.
The March 13 edition—which saw Adrien Curiel outpoint Hugo ‘Verdugo’ Guarneros in a 10-round battle of local flyweights live from Domo Sindicato de Trabajadores IMSS (Mexico Institute of Social Security) in Mexico City—averaged 442,000 viewers according to Nielsen Media Research. The figure marked the strongest showing for the series’ spring season, also providing a 43% increase from the February 21 season premiere from Miami.
