Super middleweight Maciej Sulecki revived his career on Friday.

Sulecki picked up a 10th-round technical knockout over Ali Akhmedov at Qazaqstan Track and Field Arena in Astana, Kazakhstan. Referee Juergen Langos stopped the bout 14 seconds into the final round.

Sulecki improved to 33-3 (13 KOs), and rebounded from his loss in August to Diego Pacheco. Sulecki’s other two losses came to Daniel Jacobs and WBO middleweight titleholder Demetrius Andrade.

Akhmedov, 29, who was fighting at home in Kazakhstan, suffered the second loss of his professional career. Akhmedov stopped Malcolm Jones in Commerce, California, in January to start his year.

Akhmedov had won seven straight fights since his December 2020 loss to Carlos Gongora, which was a knockout in the 12th and final round.
