Multiple sources have advised BoxingScene.com that lightweight contender Luis Ramos Jr. (25-2) has signed a promotional agreement with Top Rank.  The 27-year-old southpaw bounced back from back to back losses with two wins in 2015 after sitting out 2014.

Between 2012 to 2013, he was stopped in fights with Olympian Ricardo Williams Jr. and tough contender Fidel Maldonado Jr.

He took some time off, regrouped, and came last year for wins over Sergio Reyes and Moises Delgadillo.

Ramos is managed by the highly regarded Frank Espinoza who also handles the career of blue chip prospect Oscar Valdez, Ronny Rios, and several others.

Ramos should fit in well with Top Rank's stable around the 130-135 pound limit that includes Felix Verdejo, Saul "Neno" Rodriguez, Jose Felix Jr. and many others.
