Former undisputed heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis believes that his countryman David Haye (25-2, 23KOs) is still capable of capturing a world championship. Haye, who lost a twelve round decision to Wladimir Klitschko in 2011 and then retired last October, would like to face WBC champion Vitali Klitschko.

Wladimir, who owns the WBA/IBF/IBO/WBO titles, is far more mobile and a more defense than his 40-year-old brother Vitali. Haye is strong, but he's also very fast. Lewis considers Vitali to be the more difficult of the two brothers, but he still gives Haye a chance to put on a much better showing than he did last July.

"David wants to redeem himself against the bigger Klitschko, who I believe is the more awkward and difficult one, but maybe he can do better against the guy who doesn't move too well," Lewis told SunSport.

"I was surprised that David didn't get a better result against Wladimir, but like he said, he did hurt his toe. It's hard to move properly when you hurt your toe but, if it was me, I wouldn't have taken the fight because you have to be in perfect nick when you challenge the best.

"You have to be perfect on that day you step into the ring. All through training camp you could have injuries or the flu, but that date for the fight is still there, it's cemented and you have to do everything you can to survive until that day. When it comes to colds, belly aches, hurt toes, you have to make sure you don't have any of those."
