It didn't take Ebenezer Tetteh very long to realize he'd had enough.

After two rounds of dominance by Lawrence Okolie, Tetteh declined to answer the bell for round three at Onikan Stadium in Lagos, Nigeria. The ten-round heavyweight fight headlined a card Sunday night on DAZN.

The win was the fourth straight for the 2016 British Olympian Okolie, 23-1 (17 KOs), of Hackney, London, since moving up to heavyweight after losing a majority decision to Chris Billam-Smith for the WBO cruiserweight title in 2023.

The writing was on the wall early on for Tetteh, as a straight right hand rocked the charismatic Ghanaian back near the end of the first. Tetteh's body language wasn't strong in the final round, when Okolie scored the fight's only knockdown with a right-left combination. Tetteh walked away with a discouraged look, which was a portent of things to come.

The fight came to an anticlimactic end a minute later.

The loss was the third straight for Tetteh, 23-4 (20 KOs), whose four losses have all come against British heavyweights.

Okolie wasn't the only Olympian in action on the card.

Tony Yoka, 15-3 (11 KOs), scored his fourth straight victory, knocking out German heavyweight Patrick Korte, 23-6-1 (19 KOs), with a single uppercut in the first round.
