Fighter of the Decade Manny Pacquiao’s adviser Michael Koncz has disclosed that Nike has some new deals in store for the eight division world champion.

Koncz told the BoxingScene.com/Manila Standard that he had talked to executives of Nike’s Corporate Office in their headquarters in  Beaverton, Oregon and that they felt the comments by UFC’s Dana White that Nike had dropped Pacquiao were “pretty amusing” but certainly not true.

Koncz quoted Nike officials as telling him the “Pacquiao line is selling very well and that they have got some other things going” that would involve Pacquiao.

UFC president Dana White had claimed that Nike was “shutting down the Manny Pacquiao line and starting up the Jon Jones line” in a multi-year deal with the UFC champion.

White said in MMA Weekly that he didn’t know why they shut down the Pacquiao line which was “selling like hot cakes.”

Earlier. Boxingscene.com quoted Fred Sternburg, Pacquiao’s publicist who branded White’s claims as “100 percent false. The relationship between Manny and Nike has never been better.”
