Amir Khan was stunned with Floyd Mayweather's list of the "top five" boxers of all-time. Mayweather listed himself in the number one position and placed heavyweight legend Muhammad Ali in the fifth spot. Fighter likes Sugar Ray Robinson, Rocky Marciano and Joe Louis, Willie Pep did not make his list.

According to Khan, Mayweather is not deserving of a top five spot on the all-time list and says he is certainly not better than Ali. He also disputes Mayweather's claim of being TBE [the best ever].

Mayweather returns on September 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Khan had hoped to face him. He was once again passed over. Instead, Mayweather will go against Khan's Bay Area gym-mate, former IBF/WBC welterweight champion Andre Berto.

"How can this guy say he’s the best ever when he’s not really the best ever? Look, Muhammad Ali fought the best fighters ever. He tried to say he’s better than Muhammad Ali and he’s the best ever. He’s not giving the fight fans what they want. He knows Amir Khan is more than a big name and skill to take to beat him and I bring a lot of revenue to the table being the UK, India, Dubai, Pakistan revenue somewhere in those places Mayweather isn’t so popular," Khan told Sporting News.
