Former champion Amir Khan is not concerned about the possibility of being outshined by a major event being staged overseas on Saturday night.
While Khan returns this weekend to face unbeaten Danny Garcia for the WBA/WBC junior welterweight titles at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas - British heavyweight rivals Dereck Chisora and David Haye will collide before an expected crowd of at least 30,000 at Upton Park in West Ham.
Although Haye-Chisora is receiving a significant amount of press in the UK, Khan believes his fight with Garcia is a far more important battle.
"We are fighting a world title fight. There [are] two world titles on the line in this fight. I don't know why people think the Haye-Chisora fight is going to be a big fight. [My fight is] a world title fight, it's in the mecca of boxing, it's in America, it has a bigger audience and it's such a bigger fight," Khan told BoxingScene.com.
"I know Haye. Haye is a good friend of mine and I wish him all the very, very best. I back him for this fight and I think he's going to do a job on Chisora."
