Top Rank Promotions CEO, Bob Arum, called it "a big possibility" that former WBC and WBO middleweight champion, Kelly Pavlik, could fight on the May 7 under card of the Showtime televised main event featuring eight-division titlist Manny Pacquiao' against three-division, five-time chapion, Shane Mosley, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

"We're holding a spot on that card," said Arum. "Kelly wants to do it, we want to do it. So there is a big possibility that he could be on the card."

A 28-year-old resident of Youngstown, Ohio, Pavlik (36-2, 32 knockouts) was released on Jan. 4 from the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, Calif., after having been admitted for an alcohol problem on Nov. 4.
