Fresh off a third-round TKO over Michael Lozada Saturday night in Australia, Michael Katsidis (28-4, 23 KO) is ready to campaign full-time at 140 pounds.

The Australian resident of Greek descent will likely target the winner of the Lucas Matthysse vs Erik Morales WBC super lightweight title fight on September 17 in Las Vegas, said Katsidis' international adviser Sampson Lewkowicz.

"We have that in mind but September 17 has to happen first," said Lewkowicz. "Katsidis always has an open door with the networks because he's a very exciting fighter. He's very similar to Arturo Gatti in that win or lose, people will pay to see him."
