On Saturday evening Cornelius "K9" Bundrage (34-5, 19KOs) pulled off a major upset when he dethroned Carlos Molina in Molina's homeland of Mexico. Bundrage dropped Molina and won a dominating unanimous decision.

"Man them boys ain't gotta be scared no more. Angulo used to be a dog but now I'm the only dog left, the oldest junior middleweight champion of all time. Me and Bernard (Hopkins) got a lot in common," said Bundrage.

Bundrage's title winning effort should open a lot of doors for the Detroit, Mich. native. At the top of K9's wish list is Mexican superstar Canelo Alvarez (44-1-1, 31KOs).

Bundrage pointed out that Molina holds a draw against Erislandy Lara plus a draw and a majority decision loss to Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Many people people feel that Molina deserved to get the victory in all three fights.

"I'm a two-time world champion who beat Molina and Molina really beat Lara and Chavez Jr. I'm a proven vet with a lot miles left for Cinnamon," Bundrage stated while mocking Canelo's nickname.

Bundrage finished our conversation by saying that he also has unfinished business with pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr. Bundrage's wife and Mayweather exchanged words during Bundrage's majority decision loss to Ishe Smith last February. Smith is promoted by Mayweather Promotions.

"I came close to fighting Cotto twice but both times it fell through. I want Canelo or Floyd because he disrespected my wife!" Bundrage told BoxingScene.com.
