Julian 'J Rock' Williams is back in the gym as he gets ready to clash once again with former unified world champion Jarrett Hurd for the IBO, IBF and WBA world 154 pound titles.

Williams decisioned Hurd on all 3 judges scorecards with scores of 115-112, a feat rarely seen in an opponent's hometown when entering as the challenger.

Williams discussed the aftermath of the fight itself and the likelihood of a rematch this year.

The Philadelphia native said, "I'm still very blessed to be in this position I am in right now. I thought I boxed well in the first fight but I know there is more to come from me as a fighter and I will win the rematch in better fashion. I have been back in the gym working hard just waiting on the date to be confirmed but my approach hasn't changed since winning the titles.

"We are looking at December 14 in Brooklyn for the rematch, that is what they are saying. I would have liked it to be in Philadelphia but as long as Hurd shows up in 10oz gloves after VADA testing and there is a ring with both of us in - I would fight him in his mom's kitchen. I don't really care."

Williams continued, opening up on his feelings about the importance of VADA's random drug testing - "If there is no VADA testing there is no fight, it is as simple as that. I want VADA testing from 3 months out of the fight and I expect Hurd and his team to honor that like they did in the first fight as will I."

'J Rock' has achieved something that many fighters dream of doing and never do in becoming a unified world champion. The IBF, IBO and WBA champion weighed in on the importance of his legacy in boxing.

Williams said, "Money is great but I'm trying to define a legacy that will go down in history. That's what I am in boxing to achieve. I want to unify all the belts in the super welterweight division and go down as one of the greats."
