Peter Kahn, the 2022 Manager of the Year with the BWAA, has signed a managerial deal with Juanmita Lopez DeJesus.
Lopez, 19 and from Caguas, Puerto Rico, is 3-0 (2 KOs) and fought at the 2024 Olympics.
He is also the son of former two-division champion Juan Manuel and is promoted by Top Rank.

Together, we are building a complete team that reflects my commitment to becoming a world champion for my people and my determination to proudly raise the Puerto Rican flag high.”
Kahn said he was excited by the link up.
“He is a very young and talented fighter, and has all of the tools to be a world champion in multiple weight divisions,” the manager said. “He will add to the rich history of Puerto Rican champions. He is bilingual, he has a great personality and understands what it's going to take to fulfill his dreams.”
Kahn also manages WBO junior middleweight world champion Xander Zayas, WBA/WBC super middleweight world champion Franchon Crews-Dezurn, Cuban lightweight Andy Cruz, WBA junior banamweight world champion Jasmine Artiga, junior welterweight Aaron Aponte, undefeated junior lightweight Henry Lebron, undefeated flyweight world title challenger Yankiel Rivera and undefeated lightweight Charlie Sheehy.
