Mendoza, Argentina - Argentine boxer Juan Carlos Reveco became the new interim-flyweight champion of the World Boxing Association after stopping Venezuelan Jean Piero Perez in the second round. Reveco (27-1, 16KO) hit an accurate left hook to the liver of Perez (18-4, 13KO) at 2:47 of the second round, and that sent him down to the canvas and on his knees.
